Katie & Austin’s wedding was a perfect reminder that what matters most is the people and the intention behind the day. When their original plans were put on hold during the height of COVID, they chose something simpler and far more personal, an intimate backyard wedding at Katie’s parents’ home in Huntington, West Virginia.

Surrounded by their closest family, the day felt relaxed, emotional, and full of meaning. One of our favorite moments came when Katie’s dad handed them novelty masks just before their first kiss, a lighthearted nod to the times that had everyone laughing. From quiet moments together to joyful celebration, their wedding proved that even scaled-back plans can create memories that feel just as big.
