Meet Hannah
Hey there, I’m Hannah Whitt, a wedding photographer and videographer based in North Carolina.
I’m originally from a tiny fishing village in Cornwall, England, but I moved to the Tar Heel State in 2017. After receiving my green card and studying photography at the Sawtooth School for Visual Art, I began photographing and filming weddings in 2019, and I’ve been capturing celebrations across North Carolina and destination locations throughout the U.S. ever since.
When it comes to weddings, dogs in the bridal party, dresses with pockets, and a little Macarena on the dance floor will always win me over. And yes, I will probably ask to peek at your Pinterest boards — I love getting a feel for your vision and what matters most to you.
When I’m not prepping for a wedding day, you’ll usually find me testing new recipes from TikTok, browsing the shelves at Barnes & Noble, or enjoying a crisp Diet Dr Pepper.
Fun Facts about Hannah
- I performed at The Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London during high school in an original opera we helped create
- I start every day with a cup of tea (Smuggler’s Brew by The Cornish Tea Company is my all-time favorite)
- I cried so hard reading The Notebook that I still haven’t emotionally prepared myself to watch the movie
- I came second place in a Cool Babe competition at age six, dressed head-to-toe as a Spice Girl (photo evidence is available)
Meet Matt
Hey, I’m Matt, I shoot photo and video alongside Hannah and I’m also an FAA-licensed drone pilot.
I was born and raised in Lewisville, North Carolina, grew up playing golf, baseball, and basketball, and later attended college at UNC Greensboro. On wedding days, I’m not just behind the camera. If there’s a cornhole board nearby, there’s a very good chance I’m getting involved with the groomsmen. Just because it’s your wedding day doesn’t mean I’m letting you win. Sorry, Travis.
When I’m not capturing weddings, I’m usually restoring old Chevrolet C10s with my dad, working on our front-yard food forest, or heading outdoors. I love fishing and camping, and I used to race a Mopar-powered front-engine dragster called the Franklin Flash with the Carolina Gassers drag racing team. Basically, if it involves engines, dirt, or a little adrenaline, I probably love it.
