Romantic Beach Wedding by Day, Coastal Cowgirl Dance Floor by Night - Elizabeth + Seth
By: Whitt Photography and Film
A coastal North Carolina wedding at St. Regis Resort in North Topsail Beach with soft ocean tones, heartfelt moments, and a dance floor that did not stay calm for long.
Elizabeth and Seth’s wedding started exactly how you’d picture the perfect beach wedding.
Soft blues, ocean views, and a ceremony right on the shoreline at St. Regis Resort in North Topsail Beach, North Carolina. Clean, classic, and effortlessly beautiful in that way coastal weddings just do so well.
Everything felt calm, intentional, and honestly… very put together.
Elizabeth and Seth also made a couple intentional choices that completely shaped how the day felt.
They did a first look followed by private vows, which we captured from a distance so they could actually have that moment to themselves. No crowd, no pressure, just the two of them being present before everything officially started.
They also knocked out all of their formal photos before the ceremony, which meant that once the reception started, they were fully in it. No disappearing for portraits, no missing moments, just straight to the dance floor.
And then the reception happened.
The dance floor filled up fast, the energy shifted, and at some point Elizabeth fully stepped into her coastal cowgirl era. Outfit change, boots, line dancing, the whole thing. Exactly the kind of plot twist we’re always hoping for.
It’s that contrast that made this day so fun to photograph. One minute it’s soft and romantic by the ocean, the next it’s absolute chaos on the dance floor in the best way.
No notes. Just a really good time.
